Forgiveness. . . This Really Got Me

This week is flying by. I wish I had time to really tell you all things I am learning about forgiveness, but I just don’t….

However I wanted to tell you about the book that has me thinking. I went to a blogging conference last week (in case you didn’t know). The conference was called Allume. During lunch one day, I found an empty spot and I introduced myself to the woman sitting next to me. Her name…Catherine Larson. We had a wonderful conversation and I really enjoyed getting to know her.

The next day Ms. Larson brought me a copy of her book. I was humbled by her act of kindness. On my flight home, instead of reading for seminary, I started her book titled As We Forgive. First thing I bawled like a baby on the flight. I was so glad the guy sitting next to me fell asleep or that may have been super embarrassing. I am now about tw0-thirds done and I have to say it is changing the way I think about forgiveness, justice, restitution, and reconciliation.

I linked up this post at Women Living Well:

So tell me what is God using your your life to really get you? Link-up friends. I can’t wait to hear.
